I use photography as encouragement to see the world through a perspective that most people look past. The opportunity to travel and adventure while observing what purely exists around me evokes a feeling that is unique, and one that I consider to be perfection. Capturing a moment in time, and freezing it as an everlasting memory inspires grand emotion inside of me. My ability to see light and shape in ordinary everyday situations drives me to set aside time to strengthen this gift. I urge myself in all facets of life to never stop learning, and more importantly never stop dreaming.
The subject of my photographs although vast, are inspired from mere moments that would have otherwise passed me by. A photograph has power to conjure limitless emotions, and it is my hope that the photographs I capture inspire feeling to people that they reach. Recently, I have embraced images in black and white, favoring both the contrast and the simplicity of bringing to light the brilliance that exists only in these grayscale images. Armed with my camera I will continue to draw inspiration from the world around me, and through invested time and knowledge I will strive to be better than I was the day before.
